Hi. I’m Risa Arin and I founded XpertPatient.com to help individuals & families devastated by a cancer diagnosis achieve better treatment results. In 2024, it is projected there will be ~2 million of us in the US alone. And the average age is decreasing.

Everyone asks “how is XpertPatient different?” While all of the latest research shows that better-educated & involved patients experience less anxiety, less treatment side-effects; and ultimately achieve better outcomes*, more than 1/2 of them won’t feel confident having treatment option conversations with their doctors. XpertPatient is on a mission to change that. To build active health consumers.

In partnership with patients, caregivers, cancer experts & health innovators, we’ve created an unprecedented site experience intricately designed to help those new to a cancer journey quickly become “cancer educated” and feel confident being a true partner to their doctors and nurses.

Our Next-Generation education experience uniquely integrates leading-edge technologies, including Ai, with proven Cx and adult learning strategies to ensure complex information recall and sharing. Every element of the site has been designed to help visitors better understand their diagnosis, compare the latest treatment options, and quickly take back control of their lives. And that’s the critical part of this, because, with a lot of conditions, you have time to learn the ins and outs. With a cancer diagnosis, you don’t. Every day truly matters.

I hope that XpertPatient will help you or your loved one’s cancer journey be even a little bit easier. And that one day, you’ll reach out to me and say, “Risa, I have an idea or a story I think would help others that I’d like to share.” And I can’t wait for that day.

Warm regards, Risa
